Dear parents,

We are pleased to inform you that an inter-European school chess tournament will be held on Saturday 22 March at the European School in Uccle.

Here are the details of this event:

- Tournament times from 1pm to 4.30pm / students called up at 12.30pm
- 100 places
- 7 rounds of 10 minutes
- Open to students aged 8 and over (primary 3/4/5 and all secondary schools)
- Entry fee €12 to be paid on registration
- Prize: a cup for the primary schools, a cup for the secondary schools + gifts for the first 3 in each category

Registration from Thursday 30 January at 9am via this form. As soon as the maximum capacity of 100 places is reached, we will deactivate the registration form. Don't hesitate to contact us by e-mail at cesame@apeee-bxl1-services.be to put your child on the waiting list.

As soon as we receive your registration form, we will send you details of how to pay the €12 participation fee, to be paid into our bank account within 48 hours. Only payment of the fee will definitively validate your child's registration.

Practical information for the day:

- Access on foot only via 1137 chaussée de Waterloo.
- Students arrive at 12.30 p.m. to register. The tournament will start at 1 p.m. We will not accept latecomers.
- Parents who wish to stay on site will be able to do so; we will set up an area where you can wait and watch the students from a distance.
- Drinks and snacks will be available.
- Prize-giving ceremony at 4.15pm
