This workshop provides them with a creative and supportive environment where they can explore self-expression through drama. In a fun and encouraging atmosphere, children are given the opportunity to develop their imagination, build self-confidence, and learn to express themselves in front of others.
Throughout the sessions, students discover the fundamentals of drama through activities focusing on body expression, voice projection, pronunciation, breathing techniques, and improvisation. They explore different situations, create characters, tell stories, and gradually learn to perform short scenes that are appropriate for their age. The activities also encourage active listening, cooperation, and respect for others, allowing every child to participate at their own pace and according to their abilities.
The Drama Club helps students develop a wide range of skills, including oral communication, emotional awareness, concentration, memory, and teamwork. It encourages children to speak confidently, share their ideas and feelings, and experience the enjoyment of creating and performing together.
Depending on the projects developed during the school year, the club may conclude with a short performance for families or the school community. This presentation is not intended as a competition or assessment of artistic ability, but rather as an opportunity to celebrate the students' progress, learning, and the enjoyment they have shared throughout the year.
IMPORTANT : To participate in the workshop, it is essential to have a good command of French, both written and spoken. If a student does not meet this requirement, the Césame office may refuse registration for the activity.
♦ Enrolling in the theater program requires a full commitment: regular attendance and performing in front of an audience.
