Description: Through fun exercises, theatrical games, and text analysis, this course invites teenagers to discover the joy of performing on stage while developing their artistic and interpersonal skills.
In a supportive and dynamic environment, participants learn to create characters, express emotions, and develop their imagination and creativity, all while building their self-confidence. Special attention is given to active listening, respect for others, group cohesion, and letting go.
Throughout the year, students work on physical expression (posture, movement, gestures), voice (articulation, placement, projection), and stage presence. They also develop their concentration, memory, and ability to portray a role.
The course includes work based on a theatrical text as well as an introduction to directing. The year concludes with a performance, the culmination of the work done together and a wonderful opportunity to share the joy of the stage with the audience.
This progressive course allows each student to gain confidence, reveal their personality, and flourish through theater.
IMPORTANT: To take part in the workshop it is essential to have a good command of written and spoken French. If a student does not meet this criterion, registration for the activity may be refused by the Césame office.
♦ Enrolling in theater involves a full commitment: regular attendance and performance in front of an audience.
