With Joan's guidance, you'll discover a variety of techniques to create your own sculpture — whether it's an animal, a character, an object, or something from your imagination. You’ll start by creating a preliminary sketch and learn to observe shapes, details, and proportions to bring your sculpture to life. You’ll use real tools to shape your creation, and if you wish, you can even add color to it.
You'll also explore different drawing techniques: pencil, colored pencils, pastels, markers, watercolor, and more. You'll learn how to observe shapes and colors to create your own artistic projects — an animal, a character, a landscape, manga, or any imaginary creation of your choice.
As a professional seamstress and fashion designer, Joan will also teach you how to sew — by hand and with a machine — one or more accessories of your choice: a bag, a pouch, a pencil case, a scrunchie, a plush toy, doll clothes, a cushion, and more.
