FAQ
CANTEEN SUBSCRIPTION
Registration for the school canteen is done in the form of an annual subscription via the registration site https://inscriptions.apeee-bxl1-services.be/en from the first half of June for the next school year. The exact date will be communicated by e-mail and via our website. However, you can still register your child throughout the year.
No, the APEEE Services only manages the Uccle site. The Berkendael canteen is NOT managed by the APEEE Services. In Berkendael, the meals are provided by the company Scolarest, contact: euro.school.vorst@compass-group.be
If your child is in kindergarten or primary school, you can register him/her for a subscription of 3 or 4 days per week on the days of your choice (except Wednesdays)
If he/she is in secondary school, the subscriptions are for a minimum of 2 days per week (except Wednesdays).
The Wednesday hot meal is only served to children who are registered for the after-school care service of the European Commission. They do not have to register for this meal at the canteen. You will be invoiced directly by the garderie.
The annual subscription is spread over 2 payments, covering the following periods
- September to January
- February to the end of the school year
You will receive an automatic e-mail with the payment request, the amount to be paid and the structured communication.
HOW THE KEY WORKS ?
The first key is free, but if it is lost or stolen, subsequent keys are not free. They can be purchased at the canteen office for 9 euros in cash.
To load the 'e-wallet' key for purchases in the cafeteria, please follow the steps below:
1. Click on this link https://services-uccleparents.mynetpay.be
2. Instead of "Enter your username..." enter the login for your child: XXXXXX (6 digits)
3. Select "Parent password".
As soon as this operation is done, you have access to your child's electronic wallet and you can proceed to top up your child's account via your credit card.
Please note that if you have several children, you will have to repeat this operation for each of them with their own username.
You can also find your child's username on the registration site inscriptions.apeee-bxl1-services.be on his/her canteen order or on his/her child form.
In order to adapt our conditions of use to the new legislation in force since 2022, the transaction fee for loading keys for purchases in the cafeteria is paid by the APEEE services - canteen. You are therefore exempted from this transaction fee of 0.27€.
In order to avoid passing on these costs to the prices of the products and at the same time to keep them at an acceptable level for the budget of the canteen service, the minimum loading amount is raised to 30 €; the maximum amount is fixed at 60 € to avoid the risk of being stolen unexpectedly of a too large amount.
Please do not use the key to pay the canteen fee, which is paid in two half-yearly transfers. The loading of the key (via the MYNETPAY website) is only used to pay the cafeteria and cannot exceed the amount of 60 EUR.
Your child should notify the canteen office as soon as possible so that we can block his or her key until he or she finds it or buys a new one. Locking the key will prevent another student from using the key to shop in the cafeteria or eat in the canteen without their knowledge.
Students can buy a new key for 9 EUR at the canteen office in the Van Houtte building.
To apply for a refund of the 'electronic' key, please follow the steps below:
- Click on this link https://services-uccleparents.mynetpay.be

- Select "Parent password".
As soon as this operation is done, you have access to your child's e-wallet and you can proceed to recharge/refund your child's account via your credit card.
Please note that if you have several children, you will have to repeat this operation for each of them with their own username.
You can also find your child's username on the registration site inscriptions.apeee-bxl1-services.be on his canteen order or on his child's card.

The key can be blocked for several reasons:
1. If your child has lost his/her key at school and has taken care to lock it up at the canteen office. In this case, no one can use it without their knowledge to eat in the canteen or buy products in the cafeteria. As soon as he finds his key, we unlock it. If he buys a new one, we also take care to unlock it and the amount that was on his key is automatically transferred to the new one.
2. If the parents have not paid the canteen subscription after numerous reminders to pay, we reserve the right to block your child's key to prevent him/her from accessing the canteen, having taken care to inform the parents of this decision in advance.
3. If the annual family contribution to the APEEE has not been paid after numerous reminders. As stated in our rules, by requesting the enrolment of your child in the canteen service, you undertake to become a member of the APEEE and therefore to pay the annual APEEE fee. In the absence of payment of the APEEE fee, in accordance with the decision taken at the General Assembly of the APEEE on 7 December 2010, registration for the service will be cancelled. This decision prevails for all services.
At any time, you have the option to retrieve the money you paid into the e-wallet from the key by following the steps below.
REIMBURSEMENT OF CANTEEN SUBSCRIPTION
Meals are reimbursed after 2 consecutive weeks of justified absence with a medical certificate.
No, for children participating in the ski class, the amount of payment will be adjusted accordingly by the canteen.
BUYING IN THE CAFETERIA
There are several reasons for this:
- This operation takes more time in the checkouts and will create additional queues
- increases the risk of breakdowns with the bancontact boxes
- Parents no longer have the possibility to see what their child(ren) are buying
Advantages of NETPAY:
- Speed of the system
- Parents can see what their child(ren) are buying, which is an essential parenting tool to encourage their child(ren) to pay attention to their nutrition and switch to healthier products when they are at school
- There is an alert system to warn parents when the key is running out of money
- The key has a double function: purchases in the cafeteria and access to the canteen for those registered in the canteen
CHILDREN ON A SCHOOL EXCHANGE IN SECONDARY
- For the exchange student arriving in Uccle :
Please follow the steps to register for the canteen service by adding the new exchange student to your family account (click on "add a child"). You will not have to pay for the APEEE membership twice.
You can then create an order for the new student, who will receive a canteen service key for access to meals and the purchase of products in the cafeteria.
Please let us know the child's enrolment dates and we will send you the request for payment calculated on the basis of the enrolment days of the child's stay.
- For your child's departure :
The easiest way is to cancel the canteen order of your child and reactivate it when he returns. Registrations can be made with our service at any time throughout the year. All you need to do is let us know the dates on which your child will be returning to school, and he/she can come to the canteen with his or her key. The request for payment will be calculated on the basis of the days of registration.
Please do not lend your child's key to the exchange student, as each key is linked to a single child.
