REGISTRATION TO CAFETERIA
Registration only if your child is not enrolled in the canteen and therefore does not have a key.
To order a key, please visit the registration website.
As soon as your child is registered, you will receive an e-mail from our service with instructions on how to connect and load your key via the NETPAY platform.
Your child can then collect the new key from the canteen manager (office at the back of the student canteen, Van Houtte building).
The ordered key will only allow purchases in the cafeterias and will not give access to the canteen if the child is not registered.
LOADING OF THE KEY
To load the 'e-wallet' key for purchases in the cafeteria, please follow the steps below:
- Click on this link https: services-uccleparents.mynetpay.be
- Instead of "Enter your username..." enter the login for your child; (6 digits)
- Select "Parent password".
As soon as this operation is done, you have access to your child's e-wallet and you can proceed to top up your child's account via your credit card.
Attention, if you have several children, you will have to repeat this operation for each of them with their own username.
You can also find your child's username on the registration site on his or her canteen order or on his or her child form.
IMPORTANT NOTICE IN CASE OF KEY LOSS
We would like to draw your attention to the problem that your child may face if he/she loses his/her digital canteen/cafeteria key. If your child loses his/her key, it is important and urgent that he/she informs the canteen office as soon as possible so that we can block his/her key in order to avoid that another student uses his/her key without his/her knowledge to make purchases in the cafeteria. The risk of key theft exists within the school. As long as your child does not inform us of the loss of his/her key, we unfortunately have no way of reimbursing the child after the theft.
- We therefore ask you to inform your child about the need to react quickly in case of loss of a key by coming to inform the canteen office so that we block his/her key until he/she buys a new one.
- We advise you to charge his/her key with a minimum of 30 euros on a regular basis rather than 60 euros which may be stolen unexpectedly.
SUSTAINABLE FOOD
Since 2019, the Canteen team - parents and manager - is changing the range of products offered in the secondary school cafeterias with the aim of eliminating as many empty calories, ultra-processed products, bad fats, endocrine disruptors,...and to offer a range much more in line with the health of our children and that of our planet.
Here are our guidelines:
- offering less processed products
- a wider range of organic products
- preparation of salads, smoothies and sandwiches every day in our kitchen
- replacing PVC containers and packaging with biodegradable products
- Almost complete elimination of all plastic products in the canteen and cafeterias
Some products are no longer offered in the cafeterias: Coca Cola, Lipton Ice Tea, Twix, etc. Others expand the range: fresh smoothie, plant milk, fair trade tea, Belvita cereals, fruit, etc.
These changes are a great opportunity to encourage your children to pay attention to their nutrition and turn to healthier products when they are at school.
