Dear parents, dear students, dear members of the school community,

On the initiative of the transport service of the APEEE Services and in collaboration with the European School Brussels I, we would like to inform you that the police service of the city of Brussels is carrying out a control of school buses within our school in UCCLE this Tuesday afternoon, 23 April 2024.

In order not to delay the departure of the buses too long, a large number of police officers will be on site. We would ask you not to worry or disseminate images concerning this control, even in your private groups. This is a standard procedure for a preventive roadside check aimed at verifying vehicle documents, checking drivers, etc. Please do not circulate any unverified information. If you have any doubts or questions, please contact the Transport Department directly, which is the only valid source of information about this inspection (transport@apeee-bxl1-services.be - 02/374.70.46).

This message is being sent to the entire school community - even those who do not regularly use the transport service - in order to minimize any concerns that the presence of the police might cause pupils and teachers.
